Cooped Up

Wouldn't it be rad if I could make a chicken coop that looked like one of these instead of a rickety lean-to? Fingers crossed people.

Our playdate/chicken tutorial with Karisa (Thank you so much for the fun day Karisa! Z hasn't stopped talking about your fun kids!) was wonderful. Whether or not we will get our own baby chicks this spring remains undecided. Wishy-Washy seems to be the way I roll lately. Paint colors? Mmmm, I'm not sure. Chickens? Maybe. Change out of pajamas? I'm considering it.

Today I think the Z and I will venture out into the rain to check out a new-to-me quilt shop. I'm desperately craving some color.

What are you up to today?

Ooooh. My boys would LOVE that. Maybe too much. They would probably hug the chicks to death. Those are some rad coops.

I love the last coop in particular...how stylish!
I'm Sarah, by the way. Your MIL used to work with my dad, Steve at Bainbridge Gardens...apparently they talk about us kids and our kids constantly! L-O-V-E your blog!!
And I hope you and your gorgeous girl enjoy the day and encounter all the colors you could wish for!

oh. my. gosh. At first I thought you were showing off your new chicken coop! That red one is almost enough to make me want chickens of my own.

Those chicken coops are cool! If I didn't live in a condo...

So, walking out my back door to get fresh eggs is in one of my perfect-life scenarios. How come I have too many perfct life scenarios? By definition shouldn't there be just one!?

Seriously, I thought the first one was your cop and I was going to die! I am still going to die, they are so cute. I am pinning them for future reference. I hope you go for it. I fantasize about my girls raising their little chicks at Easter time.

Those are great! I cannot wait until we get a house because I have already been discussing with Steve the extreeme need for us to have chickens (and how he is going to need to build the coop) He was actually on board with the whole thing!!!
