Weekending

Z-cakes and I spent our weekend in Salmon, ID visiting my friend, being sick (Z-cakes), baking, shopping, eating, enjoying the gorgeous scenery and throwing a beautiful baby shower. Here are a few sneak peeks of the shower:

Z-cakes had the time of her life playing with Jen's two little girls. I can't begin to tell you how fun it is to see my little girl play with my best friend's little girl. Will they grow up to have every class together their senior year of high school? Not likely. But the fact that they are friends as toddlers is good enough for me.

A little while after this picture was taken Z-cakes got sick. I was within arms reach of tissues every moment of the weekend.

Even after a wonderful weekend spent with gracious hosts, it is always nice to come home, don't you think? Z-cakes has been missing her daddy and I am happy to have us all under one roof again. Jen, I promise to come back for a longer visit when we don't have so much work to do and my kid isn't infecting your entire house. :)

Watch a million movies in an attempt to keep Z-cakes relaxed and recovering. She has recently discovered Diego and is requesting that I watch the next episode with her. If any of you are lacking sunshine and would like to have a movie watching competition with us, you're so totally on.
