For those of you who asked...this is the lens that I am borrowing.

And I agree that I should have one of my very own.
All of the pictures I've taken with it have been so bright and dreamy. And I don't have to bother with that giant external flash.
And not a bit of Photoshop necessary.

Miranda- I'm loving your blog. The play kitchen is to die for and is officially on my list now. Also, as far as lenses go, I have the 50mm 1.8 (maybe you do too?) and I love it. It's about $100 cheaper than the 35mm which is also on my wish list. Obviously its not as wide, but its a great tool to have if you're on a budget.
