Per your request

I've had a couple of requests to post samples of some of the paper crafts that I do. I have a long history with scrapbooking, and though I've tried to write a post about it, I still have nothing much to show for it. Currently, my paper crafting is pretty much limited to cards. Here are a few of the cards I made for Mother's Day.

My current style is simple and quick. Partially because I am usually making cards a the last minute and partially because I am so new at this that I feel a little timid when it comes to embellishments. My stamp collection is sparse, and the idea of expanding it intimidates me to no end. However, I have a few simple sentiments that seem to get the job done.

On another note, I have thoroughly enjoyed reading all of the Mother's Day sentiments going on around blogland this weekend. There are so many beautiful examples of motherhood for us all to enjoy. I personally had a wonderful Mother's Day complete with a nap, multiple loud "HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!" exclamations from Z-cakes, and I didn't have to change a single diaper. What a great day. Hope you all had equally wonderful weekends.

Happy Monday!
