Giveaway: The Trendy Owl

Hello friends! How about a giveaway to welcome you back from your long weekend?

TOWLgiveaway1

I'm very excited to be hosting a giveaway for Jocelyn of The Trendy Owl. She graciously sent me a headband to try out and I can honestly say that is my new favorite hair accessory. The nice elastic doesn't give me a headache an hour into wear like many of my headbands, plus I have thin hair so clips often won't stay in. Jocelyn has such a lovely selection of flowers of different sizes and colors in her etsy shop. If you're looking to doll up your look with some florals, there is definitely something in her shop for you.

Here's a bio from Miss Jocelyn herself: I am a pastor's wife to my best friend and a sahm to 3 great kids. I have a crazy addiction to crafting in general. I think I have tried just about every type of craft there is. bout a year and a half ago I started making and wearing fun flowers in my hair, so at the beginning of 2010 I decided to jump into the world of etsy and opened my shop the Trendy Owl. (yes, owls are also an obsession for me:-) I have enjoyed creating little bits of fabric joy for so many new people. It is so fun to meet others who like to accessorize with flowers. It is amazing to me the flowers you can create from scraps of fabric, a little thread and glue, and a bead or two. I hope you enjoy them.

Would you like to win a Trendy Owl headband of your very own? Well here you go:

I'm looking forward to knitting and continuing to set up my almost-married apartment! Plus, I think the weather here is going to get rainy, and really, I just love that.

I am looking forward to cooler weather, playing in the leaves with Claire, cooking with pumpkin, and reading some new books.

I am looking forward to having one child in full-day public school. Although I will miss him, it will be a huge adventure for him and an opportunity for me to spend more time with my little girls.

Ooh, that is lovely! This September I'm looking forward to wearing sleeves. I love sweaters and jackets and I've finally become accustomed to the San Diego weather enough that I don't feel like I'm melting when I break them out in September (because feeling like I'm melting will not keep me from wearing my cute jacket, darn it).

Am I aloud to list more than one thing? I really love those headbands. I love that the pictures are taken on a sheet of music!
In September I am looking forward to....
football,
cooler evenings,
my morning runs in the dark again,
canning, canning and more canning, and did I already mention college football? GO COUGARS!

I'm not sure I can pull off that look, but that head band is really cute! I'm looking forward to (hopefully) getting Cooking Club started again. And maybe working on my scrapbook a little, but not sure when I'll squeeze that in.

I am looking forward to enjoying the last of the warm sunshine, while breathing in that crisp fall air. I am also excited to relax and enjoy my house and my kids and my husband and not worry so much about all the packing/unpacking I need to do.
